Overview
Ngorongoro Crater is a natural wonder in Tanzania, formed by a massive volcanic eruption that collapsed the mountain into a huge bowl.
The crater is home to a rich diversity of wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, zebras, wildebeests, and flamingos, among others.
The crater is part of the larger Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which also includes other craters, lakes, forests, and archaeological sites, such as Olduvai Gorge, where early human fossils were found.
